It’s the late 1800s and Leon, an ex-bounty hunter with a painful past, rides into town with Micah, a young man he has raised since Micah’s parents were murdered. They find themselves in a saloon where they encounter a beautiful madam who just may be the love of Leon’s life as well as a mysterious stranger who wants something from both men. As Micah learns more about his parent’s untimely death, he becomes consumed by the desire for revenge. If Leon is to protect Micah, he must face the dark sins of his past and face off against the most dangerous outlaw he has ever encountered.

Hate Crime is a timely play about race relations in America told in the context of a legal thriller. Malcolm McLeod, a rising black lawyer, is assigned to represent Hunter Kleiss, an avowed white supremacist, who has been charged with the murder of a black activist preacher during a protest led by Kleiss of the renaming of a city park for Martin Luther King Jr. During his representation of Kleiss and the trial that follows, Malcolm falls in love with Kleiss' sister, Eva, and meets a former member of the Black Panther Party who forces Malcolm to confront what it means to be black in white America.

Picking Up Sticks by Lil Barcaski Early on a Saturday morning Rose and Joey Benevento, a young couple, sit with detective Robert Williams in their shabby New Jersey row home. Their three year-old daughter, Emma, is missing. This dramedy takes us on a roller coaster ride of dysfunctional yet loving relationships that ultimately leaves us with hope for the future of all of its participants. Show time is

Get the Callback! An Audition Workshop by David Jenkins Join Theatre Tampa Bay co-founder and Jobsite Producing Artistic Director David Jenkins for an intensive workshop designed for the theater professional. You can't earn the role without getting the callback, and this workshop will guide you through all phases including headshots and resumes, self-taping and digital submissions, large-format in-person auditions ("cattle calls"), and tips and strategies for the callback. While you are not required to participate, Jenkins will work with people interested in doing a shortened 1 minute audition that features two contrasting monologue excerpts to help show how to apply the tools.
