  • Harry Lennix Master Acting Workshop by Harry Lennix

    Lennix made his Broadway debut in Pulitzer Prize winning playwright August Wilson’s Tony nominated Radio Golf. He has directed and appeared in stage productions across the country including the Northlight Theater Company’s Permanent Collection staged at the Greenway Arts Alliance in Los Angeles. Under his directing consultation the play was remounted at the Los Angeles’ Kirk Douglas Theater. He has directed the stage version of Robert Townsend’s The Five Heartbeats, which received three NAACP Theater Award nominations and The Glass Menagerie for Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theater Company. Harry will be leading this intensive 5 hour workshop. Please bring a prepared 2 minute monologue in case you are called upon to present your work for critique and coaching.

  • Improv Scene work for Actors” Taught by Patrick Mcinnis

    Realistic grounded scene work between two actors is the foundation of theatrical productions. This workshop will help you create characters that are grounded in honesty and connected to the scenic partner you create the scene alongside
    Patrick McInnis has been involved in ensemble and one man shows for over 25 years in the Tampa Bay area and across the country. One of the area's best known instructors for improvisation, Patrick has performed and directed hundreds of improv shows as well as taught hundreds of improvisers in the area. Patrick performs with The Third Thought and directs Troupe X weekly in Tampa and is also an instructor at American Stage in St.Petersburg.

  • “The Conscious Actor” Handing Challenges Offstage.Taught by Jayne Trinette

    This workshop features a creative new approach to reversing, revealing and reviving the artist within. This 60 minute session is built to encourage you behind the scenes and inspire you in front of thousands. You will learn to design your own personal formula for success in learning monologues, speeches, dialogue and much more.
    Jayne Trinette is a Broadway actress and singer known for her performances as Shenzi on the National Tour of Disney's THE LION KING, Roberta in the Off Broadway musical SISTAS and Zawadi At Walt Disney World's FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING. Other credits include THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND (Best Actress In A Musical, Nominee-Broadway World Detroit), AIN'T MISBEHAVIN', and SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE. Jayne has toured Europe in MAHALIA SING SISTER SING as YOUNG MAHALIA and as a Featured Vocalist in the GLORY GOSPEL SINGERS OF NY. With a BFA Degree in Professional Theatre, Jayne shares her education and time with school age children and adults.

  • "Musical Theatre Workshop". Taught by Elaine Pechacek

    Singers will come with a 24-32 bar cut of their go to audition song and I will treat it like a mock audition giving pointers on what was positive and what could have been performed or prepared better to catch a casting director’s eye. Will talk about basics like how to communicate with an accompanist, what types of repertoire to have in a rep. book, and how to confidently handle the questions asked in casting calls
    Elaine Pechacek, as a freelance award winning composer and studio musician/vocalist (Sony Records, Digital Juice, and Energie Studios), has over 100 published songs/works in the genre of musical theatre and media soundtracks. Her library of work consists of 5 musicals. Elaine‘s work has been showcased and performed all over the world, including twice with the York New Musical Festival in England, the New York Theatre Barn New Composers series, the Time Square International Theatre Festival, Pantseat Productions in Newcastle, Australia, and most recently with the Broadway Au Carre New Composers series in Paris, France. Elaine, twice nominated by Broadwayworld.com as one of Central Florida's Best Music Directors, has over 15 years of experience teaching private voice, piano, and composition lessons, as well as instructing large groups worldwide through master classes and workshops.

  • "Demystifying the Monologue ". Taught by Erica Sutherlin

    This workshop gives an overview of decoding the mystery behind the monologue. We will discuss proper monologue selection for auditions. Quick analysis to discover character, intent/motivation and the objective. Of course, great tips on auditioning and landing the role!
